Running Queries

To run a query in Data Explorer:

  1. From the Navigator, expand the Data Explorer node
  2. Select the Query Type you require.
  3. The Data Explorer screen will open.
  4. In the left hand panel, under Selection, click on the drop-down arrow to display the available selections for that query type. See Query Types, Selections and Destinations.
    Click on the required selection.
  5. The Criteria area displays the available criteria for Query Type you selected.
    Use the check-boxes and drop-down options given, to specify the required criteria.
  6. In Select Destination choose either Report Grid or Crosstab Analyser as the destination.
  7. Click Run Query.
